Senior Technical Program Manager, Salesforce

Role Description

Google Fiber technical program managers are responsible for providing technical project management and program management for engineering projects in Google Fiber Engineering. The projects are related to software developed by the systems and tools teams for Google Fiber. GFiber systems leverage cloud based deployments on Google Cloud and third party clouds like Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow. The suite of systems and tools also includes applications (IOS and Android), customer web based portal, Fiber Management systems, customer agent and ticketing tools and OSS.

Fiber is expanding in 6 states and growing its footprint in its existing markets and an industry leader in Fiber technologies and services. The role also lends to work with business teams in a fast paced environment and offers opportunities for working on industry leading SAS platforms and Google Cloud infrastructure.  

In this role, you'll:

• Initiate new programs and formulate product definition through interfacing with the product management teams. 
• Run sprints for the development teams and break down technical requirements into user stories and tasks
• Manage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for development, deployment and delivery of cloud based software features. 
• Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus.
• Serve as an escalation point for the internal stakeholders
• Work with business stakeholders to define requirements and user stories

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working as a product owner/TPM  minimum 4 years.
• Experience working with product teams to define features
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criterion, and working with scrum teams to guide development
• Experience managing and working with cross functional  teams
• Managing teams and stakeholders 
• Experience with solution architectures
• Experience working with Salesforce and Cloud

It's preferred if you have:

• Hands on SW development experience
• Ability to  communicate and lead cross functional initiatives
• Problem solving skills and a solution oriented mindset

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $185,000 - $ 203,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
