Senior Technical Project Manager

In this position, you will act as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions. You will work as a liaison between the business units and IT department's Data team by identifying customer needs and translating those needs into workable solutions.

In this position, you will -

• Perform cross-functional responsibilities to analyze business challenges, data problems and recommend IT/PMO process improvements.
• Support the Business Analyst to refine business requirements, prioritize backlogs and conduct effective agile ceremonies.
• Responsible for analyzing Jira reporting and translating into accessible KPI to identify key areas for team improvement.
• Be responsible to deliver initiatives on time and oversee efficient resources allocation.
• Able to apply best practices of agile methodology, change management and CAB release to successful delivery

For this position, it is essential to have accountability, a zeal for delivery with a sense of prioritization, good meeting etiquettes and a fun attitude while working with some amazing people.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate and help guide Business Analyst to write/update functional requirements for new and existing systems, data loads, jobs, and processes.
• Review and provide feedback on business requirements, systems flow, data flow, data dependencies and functional design.
• Manage inbound request queue and prioritize requests alongside with the business analyst.
• Facilitate project kickoffs, refinement, daily standup, and other business meetings.
• Provide weekly status updates and executive summaries to all required stakeholders.
• Ensure team tracks their time in Jira.
• Conduct quantitative analysis by creating ad-hoc reports/queries using SQL.
• Actively manage scrum boards, sprints, epics, stories, and other issues assign to the team.
• Create and manage milestones with dates for big size initiatives.
• Track and report work status for team, resource allocation/capacity and work completion
• Own and manage the change management and release management process with the help of Jira.
• Support IT team governance, audit, and control process
• Unblock issue raised and escalate as needed.
• Mentor and coach Business Analyst and other Technical Project Managers
• Manage and govern team data documentation of solution, requirements, specification, credentials, and processes.
• Special projects as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Has between 8 - 10 years of proven working experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Product Owner
• Ability to lead and mentor a group of Project Managers/Scrum Masters
• Experience in Healthcare Industry is preferred.
• Technical expertise regarding requirements gathering, process engineering, technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies and related SDLC concepts (Scrum, SAFe, XP, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and related tools
• Experience working with Agile Project Management tools (JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of working teams developing data warehouse solution.
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving skills.
• Must demonstrate flexibility and excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete a variety of tasks accurately with high attention to detail and creativity.
• Display strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; communicates effectively with all levels of leadership and staff. Presents to executive sponsors occasionally.
• Develop, manage, and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
