Senior Technical Project Manager

As a Senior Technical Project Manager on the Spot team, you will work closely with engineering, operations, and product management to plan and execute the release of hardware changes, new payloads, and Spot variants. You will help track progress of projects from requirements through verification testing, manufacturing introduction, and sales release. The role is a unique opportunity to be part of the big picture of the world's most advanced quadruped product, and to work at the intersection of project management, engineering, and operations.

How you will make an impact:

• Work with functional leads in all areas to drive the process of establishing product requirements and work planning.
• Directly contribute to aspects of the product release process, such as coordinating deliverables from manufacturing operations, marketing, and IT on configuration of sales systems.
• Collaborate with a Software Project Manager to provide coordinated project management for projects involving both hardware and software releases.
• Track and report status of hardware projects against planned schedules and scope. Drive mitigation efforts for any risks that arise.

You bring:

• 8+ years of prior experience in project management on a complex shipping product, preferably with hardware and software elements.
• Deep experience interacting with all elements of the Product Design and New Product Introduction process, including design engineering stages, verification and validation, compliance, quality engineering, manufacturing logistics, and marketing.
• Excellent project management skills. Comfort with scheduling, milestones, tracking, and helping drive meetings to obtain consensus.
• An ability to understand the big picture, and communicate that out to project stakeholders.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools (Arena, Windchill, TeamCenter, etc.)
• Experience with project tracking tools, (Jira, Asana, etc.)
