Senior Technical Recruiter
Job Description
Insomniac Games is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter! This is a new role on the team that offers an exciting scope of work! This role will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting to source, attract and deliver, qualified experienced level and technical talent. Works closely with Talent Acquisition and HR leadership and studio directors to deliver outstanding recruitment programs and practices that enable game development success.

Core Responsibilities:
- Full cycle recruitment of creative/technical/engineering positions with an emphasis on senior level talent.
- Proactively identify and recruit high quality, passive candidates while maintaining long-term relationships by using multiple sourcing strategies and channels.
- Interview and screen technical candidates to determine abilities, career goals and baseline technical knowledge.
- Partner with the business to research and develop innovative ways to recruit top talent and build a strong partnership across various functions with hiring managers, executive team, and HR team.
- Review and deliver comprehensive data and metrics to share the story behind recruitment strategies and outcomes, including pipeline optimization, hiring targets, and time to fill.
- Act as a talent advisor to your hiring teams to discuss talent pool, industry metrics, and discover new sourcing/networking avenues.
- Drive candidate experience by nurturing talent for current and future roles.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and trends in recruitment to ensure compliance.
- Immigration Subject Matter Expert to advise Hiring Managers.
- Works with confidential information and exercises sound judgment when dealing with various situations.
- Proactively coach and mentor junior staff.
- Builds offers and negotiates with candidates independently.
- Owns strategic projects to improve the overall TA team.
- Makes recommendations on new platforms to enhance the diversity of applicants.
- Evaluates return on investment on recruitment events.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the technical talent acquisition space.
- Advanced proficiency in technical full lifecycle recruiting (prospecting to preboarding)
- Intermediate proficiency in Greenhouse, Smartsheet and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Understanding of technical stacks, tech job motivations and interests.
At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
