Position Summary: 

As a member of the Human Resources team, the Senior Technical Recruiter is responsible for delivery of top talent to Brain Corp. This position requires a tenacious, self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to cultivate, build, and maintain both internal and external relationships. This person will need to work across the organization supporting an array of roles, but will primarily be focused on technical recruiting (SWEs, SW QA, Robotics Engineers, Cloud Services, etc.). 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
  • Evolve, in partnership with the VP of HR,  a full cycle recruiting program and provide oversight of all Brain Corp recruiting activities companywide.
  • Partner with business leaders in workforce planning efforts that highlight the best ways to increase applicant pools in support of the business needs.
  • Maintain the staffing plan and update status to ensure alignment with the business plans.
  • Develop and deliver, in partnership with Sr. Manager of Talent Development, talent acquisition training to all hiring teams to set processes. 
  • Prepare recruitment status reports, dashboards, and metrics to identify and act on areas of improvement.
  • Lead community outreach efforts to support hiring objectives such as STEM events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
  • Guide all employment branding activities to provide insight into Brain’s work-life and encourage ongoing candidate flow.
  • Implement and promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives pertaining to talent acquisition processes.
  • Optimize functionality and utilization of the Greenhouse Applicant Tracking Systems and train hiring managers and teams on utilization.
  • Drive and manage the candidate experience throughout the selection process including offer/acceptance.
  • Stay informed and connected to external factors, trends, competition, compensation, and market conditions that impact our ability to attract quality hires.
  • Maintain relationships with and staffing agreements for all external recruiting partners.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 5-8+ years of specialized expertise in talent acquisition with at least 3 years recruiting engineering talent

  • Strong business acumen, communication skills, project management skills, customer service, motivational and influencing skills, strategic focus, and excellent negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to quickly screen and identify top level talent in various functions of the business
  • Advanced searching and sourcing experience to include the use of social media to attract talent
  • Ability to work across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaboration
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality for all sensitive information
  • Ability to deliver results while effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking software and Google Suite

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Employees are exposed to the typical office environment with computers, printers and telephones.

Salary Range:

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in San Diego, California is $114,213 to $132,248. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Brain Corp is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
