Position Overview
Exciting opportunity to manage Technical Solution Executives supporting Autodesk's largest Americas Named Accounts in the AEC, Manufacturing and Media/Entertainment industries. The Technical Solutions team's mission is to translate customer's business challenges into technical solutions that deliver business outcomes for our customers through technical expansion selling by leading, quantifying impact of technical solutions on customer's software consumption (tokens) & customer whitespace analysis. The team also works on solution concept design which involves vision creation for customer's technical solution, development of compelling technical solution concept designs and validation of technical solution and implementation plans. The team is responsible for building technical relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Technical Solutions Executives providing ongoing feedback, coaching, training, and development
- Establish strong working relationships across GEOs, Sales, Consulting, Industry Strategy and Marketing, Worldwide Sales Operations, and other groups to gain insight and appropriately structure teams
- Coach teams to define/develop Expansion Plans to drive solution sales with a customer outcome focus
- Work with team to develop outcome-based behaviors within Named Accounts
- Active engagement with Senior and peer Technical Solutions management to develop and execute upon Worldwide and Americas business strategies
- Stakeholder in various projects depending on business needs
- Develop ongoing, collaborative business relationships with extended internal teams for driving cross-team alignment and an optimized customer success
- Motivate and develop team to achieve company goals and objectives
- Continually evaluate organization structure to ensure success through alignment with Sales teams, allocate resources as needed
- Act as the technical interface and conduit with product groups on new product enhancements and prioritization of new features
- Support product group or sales development activities to drive sales and generate additional revenue
- Drive effective use of sales processes, tools, and methodologies within the team
- Develop/maintain technical knowledge of product line and company's industry focus
- Support sales opportunities & industry events with presentations of Autodesk portfolio and industry fit
- Be instrumental as an Autodesk Thought Leader both internally and externally
- Well-practiced in holding discovery sessions and creating an action plan from the results
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Frequently interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
- Acts as advisor to others to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation of a variety of factors, blending strategic policies with an understanding of current business trends
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of pre/post technical sales leadership experience
- 3-5 years of technical experience within large Named Accounts enterprise
- Experience selling or consulting SaaS based solutions
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with key sales functions, sales proposals, and presentations, with an attention to detail
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional and complex strategic situations
- Travel as required

- AEC, Manufacturing and Media/Entertainment industries experience preferred
- Ability to effectively influence with and without authority
- Develop and support a team of diverse contributors
- Successful history of challenging beyond the status quo, driving team collaboration, developing team members to maximize their potential and coaching teams to meet business objectives

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $217,200 and $314,270. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
