Ready to partner with an inspiring new business market within Donaldson Company? We are excited to hire a senior role within Global Procurement to partner with our Life Science business. Ideal candidate would have experience with new product development, sourcing in the Life Science industry, and executing category and sourcing strategies that meet and exceed product quality and achieving service and cost improvement targets.

As a Senior Technical Sourcing Manager, you will not only play a part in creating products that impact lives, but also providing value and direction for the filtration industry. You will be responsible for procurement of new materials for Donaldson's Life Science new product development projects. You will be a leader for projects that will drive positive outcomes to help launch aggressive company growth goals.

Role Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze market information to report on trends, risks and opportunities.
• Independently lead and clearly communicate the supplier value in the project strategy to stakeholders and key functional teams.
• Achieve strategic objectives and collaborate with divisional stakeholders to align on optimal sourcing strategies for New Product Development, while fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
• Drive early supplier involvement with other functional teams to achieve development objectives, timelines, and reduce costs.
• Develop and execute complex agreements, in alignment with the Accelerated Product Development (APD) strategy, using advanced tools and techniques in support of manufacturing and distribution teams. Ensure strong alignment around servicing our end customers and profit for Donaldson. Strategies such as: Stocking Programs, consignment agreements, Make vs Buy.
• Engage in product development, tool sourcing, part sourcing, item setup, supplier engagement, and part qualification process.
• Continue to develop new suppliers and evaluate existing Donaldson Strategic Suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field
• 7+ years of professional level experience
• Proven results showing strong critical thinking, negotiating, problem solving
• Advanced data analytic skills (Excel)
• Ability to travel - up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Procurement or Supply Chain experience in the Life Science Industry
• Project management experience
• Ability to interpret 2D prints and 3D models
