What you will do:

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring Stryker's Vocera solutions are properly and effectively deployed.

You will use your technical expertise to investigate issues, research solutions, craft solutions, and deliver excellent customer service via telephone, e-mail, and the web.

Please note that this is not a call center; our support team works together to take on technical challenges and provide a positive experience for our customers.

What you need:

BA in Computer Science or related field or 6 years equivalent

2+ years' experience in customer technical support role; hosted app environment is preferred

Understanding of relational database systems and SQL queries is preferred

MS Windows or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RDEL) system administration knowledge; MCSA, MCSE, and Red Hat certifications are a plus

Experience interfacing with Tomcat and web service troubleshooting

Familiarity with Windows service and performance troubleshooting

Knowledge of tools such as Command line, power shell, or other data gathering tools

Understanding of SSL/TLS certifications with a basic understanding of Public Key Infrastructure

A basic understanding of authentication protocols such as LDAP

Knowledge of VMWare and Amazon Web Services

$85,000 - $132,300 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
