As a Senior Technical Training Engineer supporting Global Technical Training & Knowledge Management team, you will be trusted to work on analyzing the technical business needs to determine the skills needed by our field personnel to define training objectives in our Lake Forest, CA location.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Interfacing with other tech service functions to retrieve information and experiences in order to build and maintain training content.
• Converting engineering procedures, drawings and processes into training structures and content to match the aptitude of current workforce.
• Determining training gaps on basic skillsets in our workforce in order to close them to adopt new Alcon products and technologies.
• Utilizing Educational Technologies approach to design and build training content.
• Delivering training using state of the art techniques to ensure engagement and knowledge transfer.
• Performing field activities to review training effectiveness, provide upskilling and gather knowledge and experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.; Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
