Senior Technical Writer

Description

In this role you will assist in developing Celestial AI’s customer documentation. You will contribute towards (i) defining the overall external documentation strategy, end-to-end workflow and roadmap, and (ii) streamlining the internal content creation and knowledge management processes.

Job duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive technical content creation strategy.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand complex technical concepts and processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, data sheets, white papers and release notes.
• Apply strong technical writing principles to create clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, well-organized, and easy to understand.
• Leverage industry-standard tools and best practices (like single sourcing) to create and manage technical content.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in technical writing best practices and tools.

Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred), and in Technical Writing, English, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor technology concepts (a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Proficiency in technical writing tools and content management systems.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Experience in the semiconductor industry (a plus).
• US Citizenship or valid work authorization.

As an early startup experiencing explosive growth, we offer an extremely attractive total compensation package, inclusive of competitive base salary and a generous grant of our valuable early-stage equity.  The target base salary for this role is approximately $100,000.00 - $132,000.00. The base salary offered may be slightly higher or lower than the target base salary, based on the final scope as determined by the depth of the experience and skills demonstrated by candidate in the interviews.
