Senior Technical Writer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer to innovate, win, and grow with us in Portsmouth, NH.

This role can be hybrid or 100% remote

The Senior Technical Writer must have ~10 years of proven experience developing technical content in an array of disciplines and delivery types, including Release Notes, technical banking specifications, API and integration documentation, and online Help. While being expected to innovate and create a diverse set of technical documentation, your discipline might not explicitly be tied to development processes, but you’ll still be nimble and attentive to deliver in step with them.

Toward that end, the ideal candidate can not only adapt and adjust to our banking client’s ever-changing priorities and deadlines but can also excel in their commitment to delivering quality content on time. The ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and maintain accountability for delivering on milestones at the highest level of accuracy and quality is mandatory. Previous experience in the banking industry is helpful but not required.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Develop technical content including Release Notes, technical banking specifications, API and integration documentation, and online Help.
• Ability to deliver the documentation in multiple delivery types.
• Understand and align with existing processes to stay in loop on the documentation needs.
• Partner with product management, development and delivery teams.
• Continuously improve documentation process,
• Work independently and maintain accountability for delivery.

What will make you successful:

• Bringing approximately 10 years of experience as a Technical Writer preferred
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability.
• Exposure to modern software development processes like Agile/Scrum to effectively handle documentation.
• Ability to work with customers to understand their documentation needs.

Additional Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge and experience of online banking or cash management applications preferred but not required
