Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Sr. Business Technology Engineer role is responsible for helping firms to configure their technology tools to best suit their firm, advisor, and client needs. The role participates in the onboarding of new clients and new technology tools.

What will you do?

• Technology Engineering - Provides superior client experience while independently managing the configuration of the C&C technology platforms (e.g. RBC BLACK, Fiserv Portfolio Advantage, Annuity Portal, Client Portal, FIX connections, Account Opening & Servicing Platform, etc).

• Relationship & Communication Management: Provide transparency and enable collaboration between internal teams, clients, prospective firms, and within the fintech industry.

• Subject Matter Expert - Serve as a Clearing & Custody subject matter expert for our clients and internal partners. Ability to navigate the RBC organization and best practices.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 3+ years of experience in financial services industry, preferably within clearing and custody.
• 3+ years of experience with various the brokerage technology offerings (e.g. CRMs, Trading Platforms, Planning software, etc.)
• 5+ years of consultative experience
• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a concentration in a business or technology related discipline.
• Previous experience interacting with 3rd party vendor solutions

Nice-to-have

• Industry Licenses (7 or 99)
