Job Description:
The Enterprise Data Management Services team is looking for a strong, self-motivated Technology manager/architect to become an integral part of the Data Resiliency Acceleration program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing and enhancing application components for supporting ML/AI models and data ingestion processes, with focus on code resiliency and stability
  • Interacting and leading the effort with ML/AI modelors, team of developers, and business partners and develop processes to ensure that ML/AI models are production-ready
  • Developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications Partnering with ML/AI modelers on future technical component development
  • Working in a fast paced agile environment, under minimal supervision, with guidance from senior team members
  • Participating in analysis on operational issues Participating in peer reviews for designs, code, and other work products

Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in developing & leading resources and supporting business applications
  • Python programming background (scripting and object-oriented design)
  • Coding experience with "big data" (Spark/PySpark, SQL, Hadoop, ETL development)
  • Experience implementing statistical models in python (Jupyter notebooks, scipy, numpy, pandas, Scikit-learn)
  • Machine learning experience or knowledge

Desired Skills:
  • Understand and empathize with the key challenges faced by sponsors and stakeholders
  • Manage senior stakeholder expectations and build trust relationships.
  • Solution desgin experience. Hands-on development experience on languages like Python, Java etc.
  • Prior experience automating and deploying statistical/ML models in a production environment RDBMS knowledge of Oracle and SQL a plus
  • Knowledge of Autosys a plus
  • Prior experience working in a agile environment Prior knowledge of Horizon tools .e.g Jira, Bitbucket
  • Desired skills in Natural Language Processing (NLP), advanced and semantic information search, extraction, induction, classification and exploration

Responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices. Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products. Accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams e.g. prioritizing tech debt, compliance and security items, and supporting audits. Accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met. Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews). Creates the technology strategy for their technical domain. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization. Manages a team.
