Senior Test Analyst

Location: Cape Town | Preference will be given to candidates based in Cape Town

Reporting Line: QA Lead (AU)

Working Practices: Minimum two days a week in the office with option to work remotely for remaining three days

Role summary

The Senior Test Analyst is responsible for testing relevant platforms to ensure a quality experience for students and educators. Working as a part of a small team, this role will be responsible for developing and executing test cases derived from detailed requirements, managing defects within the product and working with the developers to deliver a quality release.

An excellent communicator, you will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight time frames.

To apply, you should have at least 5 years experience in:

• Experience in functional testing.
• Experience in automation testing including front-end UI and API testing.
• Experience working with Jira or alternate tools.
• Experience working with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications or industry certifications and demonstrated knowledge of IT and Education business and technology trends and developments.
• Preferred but not essential: experience with implementing automation frameworks and selection of tools
