Join us as a Senior Test Automation Engineer!

You will join the Customer Monitoring team which forms part of the Cloud Platform department. This will be a new team with a focus on engineering actionable monitoring and alerting tools (such as APIs, status pages etc.) for RELEX customers. Ideally, you will also consult other development teams from the department. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members in an agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through automated testing. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. 

This is some of what you will be doing:   

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback
• Conduct exploratory testing to assess the quality of new features
• Report and track defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve them
• Engage in agile ways of working, enabling adaptability, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on collaboration to deliver value efficiently.
• Provide input on testability and quality aspects during the design and development phases.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and agile methodologies 

What we expect from you 

• Passion to create maintainable and versatile automated tests with readable reports  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright )
• Interest in collaborating on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Enthusiasm in creating effective test strategies and delivering clear test reporting
• Experience with exploratory testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to collaborate within an agile environment
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality of your work 

Considered as an advantage 

• Experience with cloud technologies and container technologies is a plus.
• Experience testing UIs
• Experience with performance/load testing
• Experience with Agile frameworks
