As a Senior Laboratory Engineer, you will work hands on in the laborites and with customers to design, implement and execute tests on a variety of equipment and technologies. This is a one-of-a-kind laboratory with constantly changing customer needs, and broad test portfolios that support early idea testing through large scale field pilots.
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting with customers (internal and external) to determine testing requirements.
- Designing and implementing tests for physical validation and verification.
- Writing, executing, and reporting on test plans.
- Ensuring safety for the entire testing process from design to implementation
- Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures
- Working with customers, and peers to transfer knowledge and cross train on all equipment.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Disciplinary Engineering and Science Research Management.
- Experience working on and programming test systems with National Instruments LabView.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Meeting with customers (internal and external) to determine testing requirements.
Design and implement tests for physical validation and verification.

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
Works on very complex technological issues. Solving issues and developing new solu-tions requires new and innovative approaches. Has the authority to guide others in dif-ferent approaches.
Considered a subject matter expert. Elaborates proposals for important technological choices, defines methodologies to solve issues and provide guidelines for projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Disciplinary Engineering and Science Research Management.
Experience working on and programming test systems with National Instruments LabView.

Ability to gather data from multiple types of sensors for data acquisition and analysis.
Familiarity with testing of flow, pressure, temperature systems.
Experience with testing of rotating machinery and electrical systems.
Experience with analytical tools ranging from oscilloscopes and signal analyzers to microscopes and CT Scanners.
Ability to combine many discrete data gathering systems into a single data set for analysis.
