Senior Threat Analyst, Threat Detection

As an Intelligence Analyst in Threat Detection, you will help drive the detection and analysis of harmful activity as part of a growing analysis cell within Reddit’s Safety organization. Your work to deliver timely and actionable intelligence information will help to build assessments of Reddit’s threat landscape and help a diverse range of decision-makers identify, and mitigate risk to the organization. 

What You'll Do:

• Apply analytic tradecraft to the investigation of suspicious and malicious activity targeting Reddit and our users
• Produce well-founded analytical outputs for tactical and strategic level stakeholders 
• Work with a team of interdisciplinary analysts to identify and track influence operations driven by and or impacting the social-media space
• Assist in the implementation of diverse methodologies to identify and analyze trends 

• 5+ years experience in intelligence analysis, focus in threat hunting and information operations preferred
• Experience using large data sets to conduct research, discover relationships and correlate threat data from various sources 
• Thorough understanding of cybersecurity and geopolitical issues as drivers for threat activity
• Excellent ability to deliver both written and oral analytic products
• Ability to use SQL is a plus
• No security clearance required

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $145,700 - $218,600.
