Senior Threat Management Lead

Basic Function

The Senior Threat Management Lead is recognized across the organization for deep-domain expertise in vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence This role will lead and execute on critical projects, expand our vulnerability assessment and cyber threat intelligence program, identify and report vulnerabilities to prepare networked defenses and staff for the highly sophisticated targeted attacks our organization will face. The role also provides opportunities that promote technical growth in the form of formal and informal education and training to all levels of team members within GBS.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as the domain expert for Offensive Security and Threat Intelligence
• Collaborate with executive leadership, GBS leadership, and partners
• Lead technical growth opportunities for security roles throughout the enterprise
• Provide leadership during all security incident response activities as needed
• Research and integrate tools, processes and techniques to improve vulnerability analysis, network and data security, and threat management
• Liaise with other leaders in the cyber security industry to share best practices and insights
• Drive security projects from ideation to completion and aid with project related financials
• Influence security leadership to help drive sound technical investment strategies
• Deliver key findings and improvement suggestions to determine if systems and infrastructure are properly tooled and resourced to defend against sophisticated attackers
• Understand and communicate within technical, manufacturing, or business context, existing and emerging threats to communicate risk, as well create and maintain detailed information security roadmaps and programs that will improve the overall risk posture of the organization

Min. Qualifications

• BS or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities in a professional IT or security role
• At least 4 years of experience specific to cybersecurity
• Familiarity with risk assessment, vulnerability management, and penetration testing tools
• Scripting experience in PowerShell or python, strongly preferred
• Experience with frameworks and guidelines such as Mitre ATT&CK, NIST, CIS, ISO 27000, TOGAF
• Direct experience in one or more of the following: red teaming, exploit development, incident response/hunt, cybersecurity research and development, vulnerability management
• Demonstrated success delivering projects and programs working with a diverse field of stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence technical subject matter experts in matters related to both security solution design, implementation, and overall risk posture
• Budget planning and management preferred
• CISSP, or other security relevant certifications (e.g., GPEN, CEH, GIAC), preferred
