About the Role:
We are looking for a high-caliber senior technical program manager to manage the web and ecommerce program with high complexity and broad scope. You will work across functions to build and/or integrate with third party systems to launch software that meets Mill’s digital business needs, including but not limited to the website, content management system, e-commerce, payments processing, and business operations needs such as inventory, order management, fulfillment, support, etc. This is a great opportunity to join an incredible, high-performing team, and exhibit strong leadership and judgment as Mill navigates its first product offering!
Responsibilities
As Mill’s Senior Technical Program Manager, Website & eCommerce, you will:
- Lead cross-functionally to define schedules, requirements, resources and integration plans
- Communicate program status and prioritize initiatives
- Drive project delivery and technology reviews
- Use technical judgment to challenge proposals and build consensus
- Proactively identify program risks and drive mitigation plans with engineering teams
- Build out scalable processes and frameworks leveraged by multiple cross-functional teams
- Maintain the team's focus on goal-oriented results in a fast paced startup environment with many moving parts
- Coordinate both internal and external software teams to deliver and launch the elements of Mill’s digital business needs.
- Clearly communicate plans for features, monitor advancements in ecommerce and provide new ideas to improve our site and consumer experience.
- Develop efficient and effective systems and processes to ensure scalability, standardization, and maintainability of new features, functionality, and the content management system.
- Drive collaboration for clearly defined user stories, product requirements, acceptance criteria, and critical test cases to drive QA and regression testing.
- Champion customer and stakeholder needs throughout program execution, ensuring that what is delivered meets the OKRs while surfacing status and learnings with leaders across the company.
Qualifications:
- Strong program management experience (7+ years) delivering web and eCommerce business programs from inception, delivery, and post launch.Â
- Technical background such as software engineering, systems engineering, analytics etc a huge plus.Â
- 3+ years experience managing vendor relationships/partnerships.
- Ability to identify user needs, translate into requirements, organize, plan, and execute for business success.
- Ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $140k to $175k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market conditions, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs. At Mill, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
