Job Description
- Develop comprehensive training materials, courses, and programs tailored to the needs of professionals in the audio video industry.
- Create engaging content, including presentations, manuals, online resources, and hands-on exercises.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and design comprehensive curricula for various levels of expertise in the audio video industry.
- Develop engaging and interactive educational materials, including written content, videos, audio recordings, presentations, and interactive modules.
- Apply instructional design principles to structure and sequence learning content, ensuring effective learning outcomes and engagement.
- Utilize your technical skills to produce high-quality audio and video content, including editing, mixing, and enhancing raw media files.
- Incorporate visual elements, such as graphics, animations, and illustrations, to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Collaborate with the technology team to integrate content into the LMS and ensure seamless user experience.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and online. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to deliver impactful training experiences.
- Develop and administer assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders and use the data to continuously improve the quality of training.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, and evaluation results. Prepare reports and summaries to communicate the impact and success of training initiatives to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangement, and equipment setup, procure necessary resources, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilitation and content development, instructional design, or e-learning production, preferably in the audiovisual industry.Â
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and adult learning principles with attention to participant centered learning.
- Proficiency in audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audacity) and multimedia authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline).
- Familiarity with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Willingness to travel to conduct in-person training sessions, attend industry events, and collaborate with stakeholders as needed.
Some nice-to-haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Production, or a related field preferred, but not required.Â
- Strong understanding of audio video technologies, systems, and workflows is a plus.
