Senior Training Specialist, Hospitality Operations

The Role
Kasa is looking for a Senior Training Specialist to join our team. The Senior Training Specialist will be at the forefront of driving change within our Hospitality Operations teams by crafting and delivering transformative training programs.
As our Senior Training Specialist, you'll be the architect of knowledge, creating engaging workshops, teach-ins, and job aids that not only captivate but also ensure long-lasting retention. Your canvas will be diverse, with a toolkit that includes Lessonly, Canva, Quizizz, Google Slides, Google Sites, Notion, SafetyCulture, and Adobe Premiere tools. In collaboration with our dynamic team leadership, you'll be responsible for orchestrating the rollout of these training initiatives to guarantee that our teams receive the essential knowledge they need in a timely and efficient manner.

Day in the Life of a Kasa Senior Training Specialist
- Drive the creation and delivery of training efforts (with guidance from leadership) for Hospitality Operations teams:
- Primary: change management (product/process/policy)
- Secondary: onboarding new employees
- Tertiary: continuing education
- Own and create new workshops, teach-ins, and job aids, produced for excellent retention and a clear flow of communication
- Lead training efforts to deliver seamless experiences for the attendees in Hospitality Operations as well as newly joined Kasamig@s.
- In partnership with team leadership, track the coordination of new content for workshops & other training initiatives to ensure that all required training is being delivered on time and to the right teams.
Experience
- You have 2-3 years of direct training experience, supporting operational teams
- You have a minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality sector
- You have the ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced team environment
- You can adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed
- You are able to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. You are extremely comfortable on the phone, with email, and video calls
- You are responsive & detail obsessed - You take meticulous notes and follow-up after every meeting
- You have strong technology skills - Including use of Learning Management Software and other various online platforms (Canva, Quizizz, Google Slides, Google Sites, Notion, SafetyCulture, and Adobe Premiere tools, etc.)
Plus if…
- You have a background in adult education and/or instructional design
- You’ve helped build a training program
- You have project management experience

- Provided replicable, scalable, and consistent training and coaching on operational processes to maximize adoption across teams.

- Supported successful expansion efforts and critical cross-departmental Kasa projects through training partnership
