Senior Transportation Analyst, Parcel

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is seeking a Senior Transportation Analyst within its North American Transportation team to support the strategy and deployment of inventory for Business to Consumer (B2C) profiles shipped via the parcel network. The mission of the North American Transportation team is to ensure a successful delivery experience for customers while optimizing the costs of Peloton’s global supply chain. The Senior Analyst role is critical to achieving the team’s mission, and affords many opportunities to contribute, learn and grow with Peloton. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical and curious, while willing to roll up their sleeves and solve problems with varying levels of complexity.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

• Own relationships between Peloton and small parcel carriers
• Act as internal point of contact for parcel inquiries, ensuring cross functional teams are supported by partners and preventing unnecessary expenses
• Develop small parcel budget, tracking at the weekly, monthly and quarterly level 
• React to unplanned capacity constraints within the parcel network and minimize impact to final customer
• Lead annual parcel bid, working cross functionally to support Peloton’s long term financial goals
• Maintain parcel forecast, reviewing with providers to prepare for promotional and peak periods
• Develop short and long term parcel network strategy, aligning the supply chain with strategic initiatives and growth targets 
• Plan, organize and execute transportation activities and projects while ensuring assigned target dates are met 
• Maintain SOP documentation for the processes associated with this role; create or revise standard operating procedures for existing processes 
• Model costs and service level tradeoffs for varying logistics scenarios
• Strong participation in team initiatives, establish priorities, schedule and track project assignments, while providing the appropriate guidance to cross-functional team members
• Evaluate costs and identify any potential improvement opportunities
• Willingness to dedicate bandwidth to cross functional training within NA Logistics and problem solve across all functional areas of the team 

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

• 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience managing parcel providers and deploying advanced strategies to reduce cost
• Practical experience managing FedEx Parcel and DHL Express is a benefit
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, or equivalent work experience
• Budget management preferred  
• ERP experience preferred
• Advanced in Excel, comfortable with large data sets
• Effortlessly transition between working autonomously and collaboratively
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action

Base Salary: $103,200.00  to $134,200.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
