Senior Treasury Analyst

Job Description

Job Purpose:

This position reports to the Treasury Director, and is responsible for oversight of the daily corporate cash management activities, as well as process improvements of said activities as well as supporting the debt management and compliance, Investor Relations, and other special projects. The Senior Treasury Analyst maintains relationships with cash management banks, pension managers, credit card processors, and internal customers.

This is a hybrid position (50% in office) with in-person training.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise and manage all daily cash management processes
• Makes suggestions to improve reporting and control infrastructure for the cash management section of Treasury
• Evaluates and recommends cash management initiatives
• Create, maintain, and update treasury operational policies and evaluation of such activities throughout the organization
• Monitor compliance with treasury policies and ensures controls are adequate
• Gather and maintain treasury department files and documentation, for both cash procedures and bank account information. Update and revise SOPs for daily cash process as improvements are made.
• Manage annual cash flow forecast model; collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop forecast methods for collections and payables
• Manage debt principal and interest payment schedules
• Preparation of debt covenant reporting and compliance
• Manage audit process with internal and external auditors
• Responsible for managing day to day bank relationships. Reviewing services and recommending optimizations and enhancements.
• Support Treasury Director with managing the corporate leasing program
• Support Treasury Director with management of pension plan analysis, reporting and strategy
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

• CTP, CPA, MBA advantageous

Relevant Work Experience:

3 to 5 years in finance, accounting or treasury

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Reasonable understanding of the banking system, including cash flows through the banking system.
• Ability to make decisions, often with short deadlines, in a prudent manner.
• High personal integrity to transact business in a duly diligent manner.
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts, allowing good accounting interaction.
• Ability to communicate throughout the organization in written and verbal form.
• Knowledge of Excel.
• Detail oriented and good organizational skills.
