POSITION SUMMARY: Republic Services is an industry leader in U.S. recycling and non-hazardous solid waste disposal, generating $10 billion in annual revenue. The Senior Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in the effectiveness of the Treasury Department by working across all disciplines of Treasury Operations and cross functionally to ensure all department requirements and Company objectives are met or exceeded. The Senior Treasury Analyst is primarily responsible for cash forecasting and cash management, as well as, leveraging banking relationships to identify and implement enhanced business processes. Furthermore, the Senior Treasury Analyst will support the field organization with their treasury needs, including due diligence of potential acquisition targets and be a member of the acquisition integration team.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proficient in all functions of treasury cash management system, utilizing it to set daily cash position, initiate debt principle and interest payments, interface to general ledger and to accurately analyze and report on cash balances and liquidity.
• Forecasts shorter-term cash and liquidity needs and manages credit facility and investment balances.
• Executes short-term debt and investment transactions.
• Manages and maintains banking account structure, including the administration of bank accounts, credit cards, and online systems.
• Manages trust, escrow and investment accounts.
• Supports preparation of monthly and quarterly accruals, analysis and reports and SEC filings including 10Q and 10K filing, collaborating with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
• Builds value-enhancing relationships with major financial institutions.
• Identifies and implements strategies to optimize the company's working capital and cash management related processes.
• Provides treasury support to company's field operations, corporate departments and acquisition/divestiture activities.
• Completes ad hoc analysis and special projects.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CCM or CTP certification.
• Minimum of 3 of experience in cash and liquidity management, financial analysis, risk management and treasury operations and controls and payment systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing data, correlating multiple factors, drawing appropriate conclusions and anticipating issues and conflicts.
• Knowledge of and experience with treasury workstation technology, cash/treasury management products and regulations
