The Hartford's Treasury organization is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to support its Bank Account/Treasury System Management functions. The team is responsible for ensuring the banking information maintained within the Treasury Management System (TMS) is accurate in order for daily and monthly processes to run successfully, evaluating and completing system access requests, and working with business, IT, and vendor partners to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office in Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Responsibilities include:

  • Bank Account Management
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date banking information within the TMS
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data records
    • Perform regular quality checks on entered data to identify and correct errors
    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity
    • Organize and maintain electronic records
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Treasury System Management
    • Administer and maintain access to Treasury related systems (TMS, bank portals, etc.)
    • Investigate security incidents and manage access problems
    • Document access security systems and procedures
    • Provide supporting documents to auditors on a routine basis
  • Customer Service
    • Act with appropriate urgency when responding to customer inquiries or requests
    • Demonstrate professionalism and establish credibility and rapport in all customer interactions
    • Serve as the single point of contact for TMS production issues
    • Listen carefully and ask probing questions to understand others' needs or perspectives
    • Speak clearly and concisely to effectively convey information or express opinions; clearly explain complex or technical information in a way that is helpful to listeners
    • Quickly comprehend written information and write effective letters, emails, reports, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Knowledge of banking, cash management, and insurance products and terminology preferred
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented, working under tight deadlines with focus on accuracy

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
