The Role
Cypress Creek Renewables is looking to hire a Senior Treasury Analyst. Reporting to the Treasurer, this key role’s main objective is to manage the construction loan administration process for projects under construction. Senior Treasury Analyst will also help create and maintain a database of all the project level and corporate loans showing schedule of forecasted interest and principal payments. In addition, this position will also be responsible for optimizing the interest income on the idle cash sitting in the project level operating bank accounts. This role will be based at our headquarters in Santa Monica, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the construction loan administration for all projects under construction which involves:
- Working closely with structure finance, accounting, and supply chain teams to calculate the monthly cash requirements for each project under construction.
- Preparing the monthly flow of funds to draw the funds from the construction accounts already established with the banks.
- Ensuring the financial model with construction budget is updated for the latest construction draws.
- Create and maintain a database of all the project level and corporate loans showing schedule of forecasted interest and principal payments.
- Work closely with asset managers to track forecasted coverage ratios for each operating loan.
- Review various debt agreements to ensure compliance and reporting requirements.
- Work with asset managers and treasury cash manager to optimize the interest income on the idle cash sitting in the project level operating bank accounts.
- Help FP&A and Asset Management teams with any ad-hoc financial analysis or modeling for new initiatives/projects
- Assist in the design and implementation of new FP&A software
- Interact and communicate with all levels of management and be an integral team player
Requirements:
Candidates must be highly motivated and show exceptional career progress to date. Candidates are required to be able to demonstrate:
- Bachelors or equivalent undergraduate degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics/Business
- 3-6 years relevant work experience
- Strong analytical skills, specifically with finance, accounting, and math
- Proficiency with financial analysis, quantitative, and modeling skills
- High proficiency with Excel required
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Solar/Renewable industry experience preferred
Compensation: The salary range for the position is $80,000-$110,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
