Senior Treasury Manager

Overview

Reporting to the AVP, Treasury this position is responsible for managing Holding Company liquidity, maintenance of corporate debt, adhering to covenants, preparation of reporting and liquidity ratios. Furthermore, lead projects to create efficiency and scalability within the Treasury organization. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Holding Company cash position and long-term forecast to ensure that the corporation has adequate liquidity to meet its capital needs.
• Prepare and deliver debt covenant compliance certifications.
• Maintain the debt module in the Treasury Management System, Kyriba, including tracking of instruments, monthly rate resetting, reporting and ensuring timely payment of debt principal and interest payments.
• Execute loan activities, including borrowing, repayment, and documentation.
• Cultivates partnerships with relationship banks and prepare quarterly bank wallet.
• Calculate and report quarterly Liquidity .

• Prepares board reporting.
• Performs yearly review of Treasury Policies and initiates necessary updates.
• Transition and maintain intercompany reporting within the TMS.
• Participate in special project and strategic planning activities as needed.
• Keeps current with market trends and demands.
• Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualified:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
• 8+ years related experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operational processes.
• Ability to proactively solve problems and escalate issues through the proper channel and strong, polished presence with quantitative intuition.
• Proactive, detailed-oriented, flexible, good time management skills, communication and reliable.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with superior problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency with technology; Excel, TMS, investment systems, etc.

Preferred:

• Kyriba Treasury Management System expertise.
• Advanced degree and/or professional designation, CTP.
• Knowledge of Insurance Industry.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000/year. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.
