Senior TSSC Engineer (TSCM)

Core One is seeking a Senior TSSC Engineer (TSCM) to support the program. This position requires an active TS clearance with eligibility for an TS/SCI. This position is contingent upon contract award. The TSSC Engineer shall provide episodic support to the USSOCOM enterprise TSSC Programs.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Conduct all technical maintenance and operational support functions to ensure TSSC systems and networked radio sensors remain online, active, and updated. 
• Perform patch management, software upgrade management, network troubleshooting, software development, fault characterizations, remote maintenance troubleshooting, firmware upgrades to semi-automated receivers, antenna port switchers, small networks, direction-finding tools, and other enhancements to Tactical Support Package, advancing software development in the enterprise monitoring solution. 
• Draft requests for Authorities to Operate for TSSC equipment intended to be operated, managed, and maintained on Special Operations Forces (SOF) Networks. 
• Execute CONUS and worldwide OCONUS TOY tasks when required. 
• Evaluate current and future Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) equipment and produce information papers on the functionality, limitations, and executability of all SOF-E, locally stored equipment. 

Requirements:

• Graduate of the TSSC Fundamental Course at the Inter-Agency Training Center, Fort Washington, Maryland, and certified to conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM). 
• Graduate of the Department of Defense or Federal Counterintelligence/Law Enforcement Badge & Credentialing School in accordance with DoDI 5240.05.
• Possession and maintenance of Information Assurance Technician Level II certification in accordance with DoDI 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management, and DoDM 8570.01, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program. 
• Must acquire network traffic analysis training utilizing Packet Capture (PCAP) data and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Network Miner, etc.) within one (1) year of employment. 
• Ten years of experience with the installation, analysis, and operation of semi-automated receivers, antenna port switchers, small networks, direction-finding tools, and software. 
• Ten years of experience in patch management, software upgrade management, network troubleshooting, software development, fault characterizations, remote maintenance troubleshooting, and firmware upgrades for semi-automated receivers and antenna port switchers. 
• Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. 
• Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. Passport. 
• Hearing capability of 30 decibels or better in both ears in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. 
• Vision must be correctable to 20/20, distant and near, through normal vision or corrective measures. 
• Must possess normal color vision.
