Senior UI developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Senior UI Developer.

In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and Angular. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition, and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Front-End UI development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience as Front-End UI developer.
• Experience in HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, ES6, Bootstrap, Typescript, Angular 8+ along with SASS experience.
• Strong understanding/knowledge of modern web/browser technology and API integration.
• Strong understanding of different modern JavaScript frameworks highly desirable.
• Experience working with a variety of modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Angular testing tools such as Karma or Jasmine.
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Nice to have related certifications.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and enhance skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
