A role you will love
As the Senior UI Developer, you will work within an Agile environment to develop and support internal applications. Partnering with the business product owner, this role requires strong technical skills, curiosity, a passion for delivering quality solutions and the drive to continually improve the quality and speed with which we deliver value to the business.
In this role, you will design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. You'll play an integral part of delivery through the whole software development life cycle, including design, coding, automation testing, functional testing, and post deployment support.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Apply knowledge of standards, policies, best practice and organizational structure so you can work both independently and collaboratively within your team and with key stakeholders
- Provide leadership with the software development life cycle, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for the CCT Application
- Program design, deployment, and ongoing Test Automation support
- Take ownership and have the ability to work independently
- Provide informal guidance and share knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team's objectives
- Ensure the quality of tasks, services and information provided by your team - through the quality of your own work and the support you provide to others - to ensure that your team delivers high-quality, maintainable software which adheres to internal standards and policies
- Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the teams' delivery and/or supported products
- Identify and support improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team that would benefit the business such as efficiency in the software development process or improved customer experience
- Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and ideas, provide updates, influence, challenge and take on feedback
What will you bring to the role?
You enjoy finding root causes and take a rigorous approach to problem solving. As you'll be dealing with conflicting priorities, you are self-motivated and use your own initiative to work with limited guidance to implement innovative solutions.
You also bring:
- 5+ years' experience in working web application development using Spring, JSP, Spring MVC and Hibernate
- 5+ years' experience in any of the following middleware and Cloud platforms: Tomcat, Weblogic, Redhat OpenShift, Azure
- 5+ years' experience in high-level development languages, such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- 5+ years of web development experience which includes the programming and development of web applications UI technologies with JavaScript, JSON, CSS, JQuery, Ajax and HTML 5
- Skilled in JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, React, jQuery, EXT JS, Kendo UI)
- Experience with version control or source code repositories: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy
- Knowledge and understanding of technology object-oriented design patterns and their application
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in defensive programming; knowledge of basic security exploits including Cross site Scripting, SQL injection, and Secure Web Headers
- Experience working with SDLC tools such as GitHub, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Maven, Gradle and Code quality tools
- Experience in web service development in any of the technologies: Rest API development, JSON, SOAP
- Experience using agile development tools such as JIRA, ADO Boards and Confluence
- Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
- Secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
- Experience in database development with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle or SQL Server including object development, performance tuning and troubleshooting
- MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework experience
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $105,000 - $135,000 USD. This base pay range is specific to Denver, CO and may not be applicable to other locations. This range reflects our good faith effort to pay fairly based on our job evaluation of this role and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
