JOB OVERVIEW

This job requires experience in building best-in-class advancements to our products. You will analyze problem spaces and design, develop, test, maintain, and implement premier end-user experiences that solve for those problems. Design your best solutions and build prototypes to test and improve your design. You will collaborate with other cross functional teams such as product, architecture, dev-ops, and performance to design the best product solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building open communication with your Product Owner, QA CoE, fellow Experience Developers, and others to understand and transform business requirements into features benefiting both the customers and the company
• Solving problems, debugging and optimizing code to ensure optimal performance and security
• Determine optimal solutions for architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability in cooperation with other developers and architects
• Teaming up with QA CoE and Product members to review, approve, and design against test cases, ensuring customer expectations are fulfilled
• Managing code quality and ensuring appropriate unit test coverage
• Performing code reviews for team deliverables to ensure code follows documented standards and best practices
• Full life cycle development of applications, including technical research, providing feedback on options, and building proof of concept applications the confirm the best approach to take
• Aiding Product Management in the creation of product road maps and ensuring objectives are realistic and achievable
• Collaborating with Principal Engineers to create solution designs, following guidance from Architecture
• Working with the team to incorporate new coding and technology solutions into our products to promote continual innovation and value
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to team enablement materials
• Ensuring team solutions utilize the prescribed delivery pipelines

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant education or work experience with 3+ year of Angular development building end user web application experiences
• Demonstrable experience driving innovation in a reactive end-user application environment
• Sound coding practices such as unit testing, object-oriented programming and patterns, and UX guidelines
• Handling code via source control systems (such as Git) in continuous integration environments
• Practicing Agile software development processes (Scrum/Kanban)
• Using SQL including stored procedures, indexes, and functions

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Typically requires a University Degree, coding academy completion for front end of full stack development, or equivalent experience and minimum 4 years prior relevant experience
• Building applications in Azure-based Cloud architectures
• Designing solutions with modern architecture patterns such as microservices, SOA, Domain-Driven Design, asynchronous messaging, APIs, and web services
• Familiarity with the development of NodeJS services
• Employing secure coding practices including familiarity with OWASP top ten
