We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer in Atlanta, GA to help us build visually appealing and easy-to-use software. In this role you will work closely with our customers and our Product / Development teams to design new web-based and mobile solutions that our customers use to keep their businesses/government running in the event of hurricanes, fires, and pandemics.
As the only full-time designer on the team, you will have responsibility for all aspects of our UI.
In this role, you will:

• Design web apps that are beautiful and remarkably easy to use
• Research and gather user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Produce and present sketches, UI mockups, and utilize low, medium, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Produce and present flow diagrams and iterate with users to find the easiest and most intuitive interaction
• Collaborate with tech leads, product managers, developers, in research activities, strategy sessions, ideation, design, and testing of new product concepts
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. icons, images, and tables).
• Iterate and make adjustments quickly based on user feedback.
• Actively participate in scrum/agile ceremonies
• Leverage analytics tools to measure success, present opportunities, and support decision-making
• Create and maintain Agility Recovery Style Guide
• Assist as backup for the creation and design of various marketing materials including digital materials
• Guide UX for website and product applications to ensure they're in keeping with overall company brand and UX standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Art or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision and Adobe Creative Suite Proven ability to manage multiple design requests in a timely fashion, with competing priorities and deadlines. Experience with making the complex, easy to use. Energetic, self-starter with strong communication skills
• Must have a very strong online portfolio available (please provide)
• Proven track record for creating clean, visually appealing designs.
• Proven track record for quickly creating mockups/prototypes and quickly iterating with user input
• 2+ years of experience specifically designing mobile apps
• 5+ years of experience in user interface design for web applications

Compensation
