Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer
Position Overview:
Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces across web and mobile platforms, ensuring seamless user journeys and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• User Experience Design:
o Lead the design of functional, visually engaging interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
o Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user behaviours and needs.
o Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mock-ups to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Visual Design & Consistency:
o Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and scalable UI components.
o Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and deliver consistency across projects.
• Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to align designs with business goals and technical feasibility.
o Partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain their integrity.
• Advocacy & Best Practices:
o Promote best practices in UX/UI design, including accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design.
o Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies, integrating them into your work.
• Performance Analysis:
o Analyse and interpret user analytics and testing data to inform design decisions.
o Iterate on designs to continuously improve the user experience.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
• Expertise in wire-framing, prototyping, and creating user flows and high-fidelity designs.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability testing tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Mix panel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present designs and their rationale to stakeholders.
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Passion for design with an eye for clean, modern aesthetics.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience designing for SaaS platforms or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with motion design and micro-interactions.
• Background in A/B testing and data-driven design improvements.
• Certifications in UX/UI design or related fields.
