Senior UI/UX Designer

What We Need 

The NetBrain Product Management team is seeking a User Experience Designer to help us create the next generation of innovative network management software. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Mandarin speaking designer with expert level command of design methodologies. 

The Impact You’ll Make 

In this role, you will work closely with product management team and customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of user behavior and needs within network industries. Your primary focus will be expediting design evolution through wireframes, prototypes, research, and other methods. Your success in this role will help us to create a better customer experience for some of the largest enterprises in the world. 

What You’ll Do 

• You will define innovative, intuitive and elegant solutions for web-based applications for network engineers and IT managers. 
• Work with product manager, developers and designers to understand business requirements , identify the right problems to solve and conceptualize the user experience and interface. 
• Clearly and quickly deliver ideas to cross-functional teams, push development boundaries where possible while accommodating technical constraints as appropriate. 
• Provide iterative design sketches, mental model, user flows, wireframes and high quality prototypes to describe navigation schema, user tasks, and user journeys for product features or enhancements. 
• Support and collaborate with development teams during development of products. 
• Perform design QA testing to ensure that the final development aligns with design specifications and integrity.
• Conduct lean user research via industry-standard methodologies to gather user feedback. 

Who You Are

• A Bachelor's degree, with a STEM concentration. 
• 5+ years’ working experience designing rich internet applications and/or enterprise software. 
• Detail-oriented mentality and hands-on experience in conceptualize, visualize and design user experiences in highly collaborative and agile driven teams. 
• Ability to take complex technical information and apply design thinking methodologies to make it understandable.  
• Ability to produce designs at a variety of fidelity levels and work on quality assurance throughout the design and development cycle. 
• Experience of design system, iconography and visual design principles. 
• High proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe Cloud Application Suite.  
• Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
