WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Enterprise Architecture team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to improve technology management and architectural governance across the organization. In this role you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing successful implementation of the above mentioned. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Code, test, debug, implement and support a complex Infrastructure management application.

Working as a member of the global team to contribute in building quality software to manage Technology Infrastructure using Angular/Vue JS, React JS.

Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, adding animations and other micro-interactions to enhance the experience further.

Take charge in the development of cutting-edge frontend interfaces within RBC's Innovation and Technology group.

Utilize your expertise in frontend technologies to create responsive and accessible web applications.

Drive innovation by utilizing and exploring new frontend frameworks, tools, and techniques.

Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
 Must have:
-
5-7 years’ experience in either React, VueJS or Angular frameworks.
-
5-7 years’ experience in HTML5/SASS/CSS and producing pixel-perfect interfaces according to design wireframes.
-
5-7 years’ experience in TypeScript and JavaScript with a strong deep understanding of the intricacies of both languages.
-
5-7 years’ experience in using Git or other version control systems.
-
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
Nice-to-have:Â

Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly traded corporation.

Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers.

Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
