Position Overview
Are you passionate about delivering simple solutions to complex problems that delight and engage customers at every level of interaction? The Digital Experience and Customer Empowerment (DXC) team at Autodesk seeks to do just that by providing users with easy access to their accounts and products. We are looking for a skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team to help us reimagine how customers onboard, manage, use, and extend their accounts with Autodesk.
As part of DXC, you will design simple and seamless digital experiences that help customers succeed. Following our guiding principles and commitments, you will make informed decisions across the entire journey as our customers try, buy, use, and extend Autodesk's products, making our customers feel understood and their outcomes easy to achieve. You will prioritize and work with peers to collectively share customer success, while thinking and acting as one unified cross-functional team. Location: Bay Area or Twin Cities
Preference for candidates in Bay Area or Twin-Cities, MN.

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a seamless end-to-end personalized platform experience
- Contribute to & enable the delivery of well thought UX deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, designs, etc.)
- Influence the strategy and overall user experience of experiences and capabilities
- Establish and refine design patterns and templates, building on consistency
- Work within fast deadlines without compromising quality or impact
- Advocate for the customer through user-centered design best practices and methodologies
- Identify and solve customer pain points through hands on user research
- Support collaborative cross-functional teams and initiatives
- Present and defend your work and the work of your team to stakeholders and peers
- Provide feedback on the work of your fellow designers
- Facilitate stakeholder conversations and workshops
- Understand the business needs and transfer those needs into meaningful experiences
- Proactively apply and promote Accessibility best practices and designing for inclusivity
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of related professional user experience design experience
- Excellent communication skills that distill complex ideas into simple and easy to understand formats
- Ability to visualize design solutions using a range of tools and formats at various levels of fidelity
- Strong presentation and verbal communication of designs reinforcing rationale and customer impact
- Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams including designers, researchers, content, etc.
- Expert understanding of the principles of design, information flow, and accessibility
- Comprehensive understanding of design thinking best practices and methodologies
- Strong understanding of accessibility best practices and implementation
- Experience designing for both desktop and mobile
- Experience with data and analytics to inform design decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Human-computer interaction (HCI), interaction design, or equivalent experience
- Problem-solving & decision-making skills that keep in mind technical constraints and customer satisfaction
- Experience working in agile and fast-moving development environment
- Knowledge of how to effectively utilize a centralize design system
- Critical thinking skills that allow for creative problem solving
- Robust knowledge of self-service customer journeys, specifically within subscription models
- Experience in designing admin functionality, such as order, subscription, and user management
- Knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $103,200 and $178,090. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
