Senior User Experience Designer

This is a Remote role

As a Senior Experience Designer, you will work with a highly collaborative team of experience designers and strategists to create experiences that help our customers achieve their sustainability goals. Your solutions are grounded in research and analytics and demonstrate a deep understanding and empathy for customers and end users. You might be right for this job if you are comfortable where creativity and technical meet as well as collaborating with colleagues in a fast-paced agile environment.

Summary:

• Partner with experience designers, product owners, engineering and business stakeholders to gain alignment on solutions and align user and business needs.
• Take a human-centered approach to creating solutions that meet customer and business needs.
• Deliver experiences optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Make strategic experience design decisions related to existing and new functions and features.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Be curious, ask questions, take risks and champion new ideas.

Skills and requirements:

• Experience with tools such as Sketch, Axure, InVision, Figma, Miro
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and thoughtfully.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions to teams and partners.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including shaping abstract ideas into concrete design solutions.
• Be passionate about all things experience design and other areas of design and innovation.
• Experience with design systems or pattern libraries.
• Experience in visual design is a plus.
• Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or associates degree and 5+ years working in human-centered design, product design, visual design, information architecture or interaction design.
• Ability to work through complex design solutions and understand the technology behind those solutions.
• Awareness of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and analytics tools
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Base Compensation Range is $68,000 to $140,000
