Senior User Experience Researcher - JustGiving

We are looking for a Senior User Researcher to help us empower giving across the world, through gaining deep understanding of a diverse audience, which spans enterprise-level non-profits, small charities, individual fundraisers and donors. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and various stakeholders to conduct both strategic and tactical research studies. Your research will help empower our teams to make well thought out, insight-driven design decisions.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and collaborating on high-profile research projects to drive strategy, exploration, and understanding. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently and effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working closely with stakeholders are essential, as you will play a key role in shaping the future of Blackbaud products.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and lead research projects end-to-end.
• Conduct research using a wide range of strategic and tactical approaches.
• Package actionable insights into assets for partners to leverage.
• Communicate insights through storytelling, tailoring findings to suit the audience.
• Help teams to identify research topics and plan studies for both strategic and tactical purposes.
• Be an advocate for research, highlighting and documenting the impact of research throughout the larger organization.

What we need from you

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in User Research.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of qualitative research methods.
• Familiarity with inferential statistics and quantitative research methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• A proven track record of successful partnership with product managers, designers, analytics, engineers, and other business partners.
• Demonstrable case studies of existing research work which show end-to-end research which showcase design solutions or strategic user understanding across either/both web and mobile experiences.
