Senior UX Architect

Today, the “best” option for a patient diagnosed with an incurable disease is a prescription that, at most, temporarily improves symptoms. In the face of this stark prognosis, an alternative treatment option provides an avenue for hope: clinical trials.

For physicians, finding trials and figuring out which patients are a good fit is an enormous amount of work that takes away from the care of the patient sitting in front of them. SiteRx gives them a better option. Our software equips doctors to incorporate clinical research as a patient care option, generating significant new income for their practice and providing patients access to potentially life-saving treatments. And the best part: this is achieved all while maintaining their existing workflow.

Your Mission:

We are looking for a talented senior level UX Architect to join our team who enjoys the architectural side of user experience and understands best practices in product design. The ideal candidate will be local to our New York City office within a reasonable commute 2-3 days a week and able to successfully work within a hybrid on-site and remote environment. We are looking for a dynamic candidate that is adaptable and is able to pivot quickly in a fast paced ever-changing startup environment. 

You and the Role:

• Partner with business teams to deeply understand users and their jobs to be done
• Understand how various users will interact with the platform and develop the structure and flow to make those interactions possible
• Distill qualitative and quantitative research into simple and functional information architecture, taxonomy, workflows and navigation
• Proactively recognize UX/UI gaps in design and propose solutions
• Inform the process and product roadmap

Your Skills:

• 7+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in an architect role at a software product company, design firm, or consulting firm
• You have a solid grasp of user research, information architecture, interaction design, and content strategy
• Mastery of user-centered design principles and practices with examples to show
• Skilled using UX tools for various stages of development
• Experience creating site maps, wireframes, and customer journey maps
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening)

Case study style portfolio required with clear examples demonstrating your approach, process, and problem solving capabilities.
