Why Lytx:

As Senior UX Designer, you'll work with industry-leading Fleet Tracking Software, which manages massive amounts of video and data collected from over 600,000 vehicles worldwide. Be responsible for building solutions that collect, organize, and present information for tracking the safety and efficiency of commercial transportation drivers and fleets. Lead projects, establish engineering best practices, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across Agile teams. Using Video Telematics, Machine Vision, and AI to derive intelligent insights for all devices and vehicles on our network, you'll help accelerate our software. Doesn't that sound exciting?

You'll Get To:

• Challenge the status-quo and chart new standards. Drive creative thinking, and discover new ways of approaching a design problem.
• Create high fidelity prototypes with high quality code that can be immediately leveraged by a broader engineering department.
• Develop initiatives from concepts to testable designs by leveraging a broad designer toolkit. Start with personas, user scenarios, user journeys, and wireframes to interactive prototypes.
• Design and execute your own research plans with feature validation, customer interviews, and field visits.
• Evangelize concepts and designs to a diverse audience, in both ad-hoc and formal presentations. Use design to get broad buy in from your stakeholders and the team.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and other designers.
• Facilitate a trusting environment where ideas can be freely explored and friendly debate is encouraged.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in UX design
• Portfolio of UX focused work samples
• Proficiency in a XD, Figma, Invision, and Sketch
• Strong understanding of use-cases, user flows, and information architecture
• Demonstrated ability to craft personas, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs, and prototypes
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
