Senior UX Designer

(Remote US)

About the role: 

We are looking for a UI / UX Designer who will help to design the customer experience for Stability AI dev platform and web application software built on top of Stability AI APIs. The candidate will have an exceptional portfolio of working in world-leading web platforms, creating simple and elegant UI/UX interfaces, and a good understanding of the creative AI industry. 

Responsibilities:  

• Gather and evaluate user requirements for Gen AI applications of multiple modalities (image, video, 3d, audio and language), in collaboration with product managers and engineers and clearly communicate them.
• Define intuitive and easy-to-use UI/UX across multiple applications built for different customer use cases. 
• Prepare and present mock UIs to internal teams and key stakeholders and iterate to get consensus.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, control flows).
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
• Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components

Qualifications:

• 5+ years proven experience working as a UI/UX Developer with a creative eye for exceptional websites and apps 
• Excellent at illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Strong at designing graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and other components
• Experience in developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate user workflows 
• Experience in design software like Figma, Adobe Xd, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Strong HTML & CSS skills, with bonus points for experience with animation or 3D

Compensation

The salary range for this role is between $118,000 and $171,000. Individual pay within the range is based on factors like job-related skills and experience. Total compensation also includes stock options and benefits.
