Senior UX Designer

We are looking for a Sr. UX Designer to help us create the future of luxury wellness and hospitality solutions. The ideal candidate has exceptional experience in interaction and visual design and will help create and improve consumer and B2B digital experiences.

You are an advocate for the user and can juggle several high-level projects with confidence, implementing human-centered design methodologies. 

Responsibilities

• Participate in and influence cross-functional teams to achieve solutions that are right for our customers, that adhere to the product vision, and that meet business objectives 
• Design and deliver rapid prototypes, wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces 
• Develop usable, accessible, and engaging user experiences that optimize complex workflows 
• Plan and conduct user research and testing to understand target users, behaviors, and needs, gathering and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform the product design process and opportunities to improve the user experience. This may include, but not be limited to discovery, surveys, focus groups, interviews, analytics insights, ethnographic research, and usability testing 
• Support product and business strategy, providing input from a user experience and design perspective 
• Present design concepts to senior leadership and external partners 
• Support executives and business development with product demos 
• You will lead and manage the entire UX design process as an individual contributor, from research and conceptualization to prototyping, testing, and implementation. This will include the development of user journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes working with a cross-functional team to create both user and business value 
• Leadership – Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote, and exemplify Company values and represents departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers 
• Customer Service – Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Teamwork - Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers
• Safety – Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent domain experience  
• 6+ years of experience in a Sr. UX design position  
• Experience working with luxury brands  
• Experience in hospitality and/or wellness  
• Experience with hardware/industrial design 
• Startup experience
• A solid grasp of user-centered design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility
• Experience collaborating with product managers and engineering/development teams
• Highly proficient with design tools and systems: Figma, Adobe suite, design systems +
• Previous experience creating and launching digital applications and taking a product from concept through GTM 

Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities 

• Excellent organizational and presentation skills with the ability to successfully interact and influence across functions at all levels of an organization as well as with potential external customers 
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently 
• Strong portfolio showing your diverse capabilities and design aesthetic
