Senior UX Designer - Contract -

In the Experience team our methodology is user-first. That means we don’t let Design preferences interrupt Design efficacy. The solution that works best is best and results are the most important metric. We all work together to solve problems as a team with empathy for the user and our each other. We never take action without research and validate our decisions with lightweight methods from our playbook.  

• 7-10 years’ experience creating interfaces, large-scale digital experiences and/or applications with a digital design portfolio
• Experience designing brand experiences across multiple channels, including web, mobile and native applications
• Experience designing for a variety of industries including healthcare / life sciences, retail, financial, travel, etc…
• Direct client interaction experience with the ability to build relationships, understand client vision/direction and present designs and concepts
• Team mentorship and ability to guide and review design from junior designers
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Strong experience using various prototyping tools to help understand the problem, test concepts and communicate experiences to internal teams and clients
• Full understanding of how to identify the needs of real users through research, Customer Journey Mapping, Jobs To Be Done theory and apply the insights to the design strategy and business needs
• Successful track record working with interdisciplinary teams in creating great products, with proven skills in, presenting and visual communication
• Knowledge of Service Design, design systems, and agile methodologies

Nice to Haves:

• Voice UX / applications experience
• Ideally, you have a university degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or have similar experience within a related field

• Passionate about ethical design and with deep knowledge of accessibility standards

• Design wireframes and UI assets that consider all use cases and represent the premium brand. Contribute to Component Library and Design System
• Conduct Design Thinking workshops to best understand the customer’s decision-making process
• Work with Design / UX Research to create AB and Usability Tests to gain learnings, conduct competitor reviews and customer surveys, and monitor website data to gain insights for design decisions
• Partner with Product Manager on features to continuously optimize the user experience, and collaborate closely with IT and Performance.
