Description
Engrain has transformed the way people find, lease, and manage properties. Engrain provides a holistic suite of mapping solutions built specifically for the real estate industry to provide stunning unit-level map visualizations that integrate with countless websites and property tech applications. Our revolutionary, unit-level map data and interactive visuals within our SightMap, TouchTour and Asset Intelligence product lines allow both property owners and prospective renters to better ensure occupancy and drive revenue.
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our growth while contributing to a fun and energetic company culture. The position focuses on ensuring the design and user experience of our products are seamless, meaningful, valuable, and intentional by shipping solutions to complex UX/UI problems. You will work across our Product Team, including our Product Managers and Product Engineers. Additionally, you will work with other Director-level team leads.
What you'll do...
  • Work through complex UX/UI product design problems from beginning to end; translating data-driven insights into concepts that form ground-breaking new features, and designing the detailed workflows, prototypes, and interactions required to make them a reality
  • Collaborate with designers across the organization to raise the bar of quality and continuously improve the design processes, principles, systems, and tooling
  • Sketch and prototype ideas to quickly assess their viability, and design the fine-grained details of components, interactions, visual design, and transitions
  • Perform research to test your work, iterate on it, and validate the final result
  • Partner with Product Managers to inform, define, and evolve product roadmaps
  • Work closely and collaborate with Product Engineers as we build, iterate on, and ship ideas
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers

Requirements
What you offer us...
  • 7+ years of experience crafting digital products and systems, not just websites. You have helped ship customer-centric products that tackle real problems
  • 5+ years of experience with the entire product development process; from problem-solving and system modeling to detailed interface, to prototypes, to interaction design, visual, and service design
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A strong voice for our users and their needs through research, empathy, and understanding
  • Experience with design systems, responsive design, and accessibility
  • Experience with design thinking methodologies, activities, and facilitation
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented with a passion for troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive technical knowledge
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Excellent communicator with interpersonal skills to help people across the company understand the rationale behind your proposals and navigate complex nuances of design problems
  • An ambitious spirit and ability to collaborate deeply cross-functionally including product management, engineering, research, data, and analytics
  • Strong conceptual thinker with leadership and team-building skills

What we offer you...
  • Salary Disclosure for Colorado: minimum base salary of $100,000 - $125,000. Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate's experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
  • Various health, dental and vision insurance plans to choose from
  • 2-10 weeks of paid parental leave + additional paid and unpaid leave options
  • Up to 18 days annually of PTO & 10 holidays per year
  • Dog-friendly office
  • 401k match up to 4 percent
  • Annual stipend for personal growth through our Grow450 program
  • On-site amenities include a professional fitness center, flexible & modern workspace, coffee bar, happy hour taps & team member lounge

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.
