This role can be based out of either our Atlanta, GA or Boise, ID office locations.
What you'll do
As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the design of Kount's products and experiences.
- Understand our brand, products, and users to produce high quality designs in accordance to brand guidelines and UX best practices
- Work with Product Managers, Visual Designers and Developers to design experiences on point deliverables
- Contribute product definition by developing an understanding and definition of users, framing the problem
- Generate design principles and develop design concepts
- Define User Research and Testing plans that evaluate and inform design experiences
- Translate requirements and user research/testing findings into tangible interaction designs
- Communicate design decisions, research reports, wireframes, and prototypes
- Contribute to the development of design patterns and the creation of a shared design library/system
What experience you need
- Bachelor's Degree in design-related field
- 7+ years' experience working in a UI/UX Design role
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- An understanding of design, usability, and research best practices
- Experience flexing between design strategy (working with business partners) and planning and design execution
- Experience contributing to a pattern library and design system
- Proficiency in common design/prototyping tools
- Experience working alongside business partners and translating business goals into measurable/testable design deliverables
- Experience designing complex, data-intensive applications
- You must be able to share work samples that demonstrate how you broke down how you empathized with the user, balanced user needs, business requirements/goals, and technical considerations
