Job DescriptionOur User Experience (UX) department is searching for an exceptional Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing team!
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be part of a team charged with revolutionizing how consumers interact with water and you will push the current boundaries of our connected product experiences. You will be involved at every step of the product development process, from conception and testing ideas to ensuring design quality through launch. Using your full range of interaction, visual, and product-thinking skills, you will lead and own product features. Then work with cross-functional partners to bring them to life.
The ideal candidate will have 8 years hands-on digital visual design experience, preferably in product development from concept to release. You will have experience with connected products on both iOS and Android mobile platforms and have created design specs, prototypes, and app experiences for large audiences.
You should be passionate about crafting designs that make our users happy, be obsessed with delivering quality at scale, possess insatiable curiosity and foster a relentless focus on solving people’s problems in ways that measurably move the business forward.
This position can be a hybrid position based out of our North Olmsted, OH office OR Remote Based with the expectation of traveling to the North Olmsted, OH Office once a quarter. We are targeting a salary from $100K-140K base plus bonus potential.Â

What you will be doing:
- Be responsible for all stages of UX design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes— and work closely with Product Owners and Engineering.
- Help generate new features ideas and overall strategy, defining the roadmap.
- Create artifacts/prototypes/specs that enable developers to implement new features efficiently.
- Test designs and iterate on interaction designs based on user feedback or newly discovered opportunities for enhancement.
- Mentor other designers and contribute to the continued growth to our team culture of continuous growth, radical candor, and excellence of craft.
- Provide patterns, best practices, and guidance on interaction/visual design for different devices and input methods.
- Minimum of 8 years hands-on digital visual design experience, shipping apps and software within an agile team environment. Professional experience must be demonstrated by a portfolio of prior work.
- Experience with the entire product development process, from concept to release.
- Experience creating detailed interactive design specs and prototypes using Sketch, Figma, Invision, Flinto, Principle, Adobe XD, Framer, etc.
- Experience with both iOS and Android; understand how to leverage the best parts of Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines for each mobile platform.
- Fluent with typography, color theory, pixel independent design, design systems, accessibility design and localization.
- Ability to thrive with minimal direction, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Ability to articulate design intent: rationalize proposals with data and communicate complex ideas to the team and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (HCI, Graphic Design, BFA, Interaction Design, etc.)
Hiring Pay Range: $80,000 - $121,000
*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors
