Senior UX/UI Designer - Creative

Innovate. Collaborate. Build. Create. Solve. We're looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team of insanely smart and just gosh-darn like-able people on the Creative team. You'll have the opportunity to build new products from the ground up, with the help of our talented architects, designers, front-end developers and engineers.

Requirements

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Develop world-class interfaces and user experiences from idea to execution
• Identify user needs and translate them into successful interactions
• Design, implement, and verify user interfaces for massively scalable programs across desktop and mobile environments.
• Generate assets for front-end menus, icons, buttons, widgets, backgrounds, data displays, and top-down maps from concept to final polished product
• Participate in the entire iterative design process from discovery to launch.
• Lead iterative user feedback programs to drive incremental improvements in existing products
• Conduct and participate in user experience research to integrate the feedback into product improvement
• Consult with engineers and product specialists to determine requirements for designs
• Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders
• Conduct rapid prototyping of new ideas and iterative design to get the functionality in the hands of stakeholders for evaluation quickly.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Work closely with marketing, product owners, and engineers to iterate on ideas, storyboards and wireframes until architectural, usability, and systems requirements are met.
• Use diagramming and visualization tools to communicate the concept before software development.
• Help to develop design specifications and proof-of-concept solutions in response to business needs

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF:

• Are fluent with design sketching and prototyping tools, (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Abstract, etc.)
• Have advanced, hands-on skills of interaction design, visual design, and information architecture and have demonstrated understanding of the business and customer impact
• Keep up with interaction design and technology trends
• Can work independently with minimal supervision, and take the initiative to constantly keep yourself engaged.
• Possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail and display the ability to quickly uncover, understand and solve unique and even undocumented problems.
• Are naturally curious, and have a penchant for and drive to quickly learn and master skills in new technologies.
• Have the ability to bring order to unstructured problems and turn complex information into user-friendly design
• Have a good sense of humor, positive attitude, and excellent work ethic

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of experience in digital product design, with experience building mobile apps
• 5+ years of experience designing UX including but not limited to: personas, user journeys, functional designs
• 3+ years of experience designing UIs including wireframes, prototyping, and visual design concepts
• Strong time management skills and the ability to self-direct when needed
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience as a UI/UX Designer
• URLs, apps, samples, or a portfolio demonstrating experience creating effective user-centered design solutions is required.
