Your Role:

As a Senior Vehicle Quality Auditor, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to build best in class vehicles.  You will play a leading role in supporting and execute all incoming, inline, and outgoing quality for the Hanford manufacturing facility.  You will work collaboratively with various engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to develop high quality processes enabling the best product, risk analysis, problem solving and continuous improvement.

Your responsibility will include:

  • Be the “eyes of the customer” with respect to final vehicle.
  • Responsible for planning the vehicle quality objectives of each development and production phase and leading whole vehicle functionality (static & dynamic) audit and vehicle manufacturing process quality review to ensure the stability of the manufacturing process quality.
  • Be a part of regular audits with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving quality.
  • Participate in process quality evaluation of suppliers and external manufacturers and ensure any issues that would affect customer or vehicle functionality are escalated in an appropriate manner.
  • Coordinate issue resolution internally
  • Ensure compliance & conformity for all activities involved.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality environment (automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics)
  • Proven knowledge, expertise, and passion for process development, root cause analysis and problem solving with track record of driving continuous improvement.
  • Top-notch communication skills in launch and steady state quality teams interfacing across many functions with both internal and external partners.
  • Strong background developing manufacturing requirements, quality standards and systems, scrap, NCM/MRB and continuous improvement processes.
  • Track record of audit and quality control teams in a technical manufacturing environment
  • A wide range of experience with CAD, Tools Net, JIRA or other industry relevant software
  • A diverse skillset including quality systems, manufacturing systems and expertise in key quality tools: IATF/16949, FMEA, Control plan, APQP, PPAP etc. And ability to work with and develop quality performance metrics.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities, define plans to achieve goals, create timelines and provide status reporting.
  • Strong background in manufacturing, quality control and audit methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VW Group auditor certification, or other recognized OEM
  • A genuine fascination for the electric vehicle field and a commitment to global change

Annual Salary Range:

($100K - $125K), plus benefits and incentive plans
