We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Capital Markets to join the Capital Markets team at Octane.  You will be reporting to the CFO and working closely with the rest of the financial team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and build out the ABS and warehouse lending programs; Manage rating agency relationships and dialogue
  • Maintain existing facilities through renewals and amendments; proactively monitor asset performance and origination trends for optimal facility terms
  • Establish new facilities as needed to maintain sufficient liquidity through cycles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors to manage new investor pipeline or to develop new loan funding program
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with covenants and regulatory requirements; establish processes and controls to effectively manage and mitigate risk
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (loan contributors, underwriter(s), internal/external counsel(s), trustees, rating agencies, 3rd party vendors, Investor Services, Accounting, FP&A, etc, as appropriate) for flawless issuance and execution of transactions
  • Manage, build and coach the Capital Markets team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from top institution, MBA or Advanced Degree preferred
  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in capital markets, investment banking, financial services, or management consulting with a proven track record in building and managing teams
  • Excel, SQL, Python a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and data- and quantitatively-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record in building strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  • Lead day to day project and team activities to meet project goals and timelines, owning projects from problem definition to final recommendation and implementation
  • Ability to build and cultivate cross-functional relationships, both internally and externally
  • Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; ability to communicate with simplicity, clarity, and confidence to executives, senior management and external business partners
  • Strong background in managing a team of technical accounting/financial reporting professionals

Compensation

The role described above offers a base salary of $220,000 to $290,000.  Your offer will be based on the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job, location and internal equity.  In addition to the above-mentioned salary, Total Rewards include a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below.
