About the Role:
The Senior Vice President (SVP), Clinical Development & Medical Affairs is a senior executive position, overseeing all phases of clinical research, with direct management of clinical development, clinical operations, discovery/translational and clinical science, and medical affairs. As a Senior Vice President, Clinical Development & Medical Affairs reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will be the vital lead of our clinical research enterprise to bring transformative prescription digital therapeutics into the hands of patients. With your MD/PhD background, you will guide our company towards breakthroughs in digital therapeutics, collaborating cross-functionally in a fully-integrated biotech to drive scientific excellence, the highest clinical rigor, and innovative digital medicine discovery.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between: $300,000 - $350,000. The final base salary will be dependent upon skills, experience and location. In addition to the base salary, Click Therapeutics offers an annual performance-based cash bonus and a generous equity package.

Strategic Leadership and Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive research and development strategies and plans, aligned with the company's mission and objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and scientific advancements to inform strategic business decisions and therapeutic development plans.
- Collaborate with the executive team to shape the overall corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with the clinical R&D initiatives.
Clinical Research and Development:
- Lead the design and execution of digital therapeutic discovery and clinical development programs, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Oversee a mature clinical operations organization comprising portfolio, program, and trial-level management, medical writing, data management, and biostatistics.
- Provide clinical and scientific expertise to research teams, facilitating the successful progression of projects from concept to clinical trials, and ultimately support evidence needs for a multitude of stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster a culture of collaboration and synergy among cross-functional teams, including discovery and translational science, clinical science/development/operations, medical affairs, product, engineering, data, regulatory affairs, quality, legal/compliance, IP, commercial, and business development, to drive integrated approaches and efficient R&D efforts.
Team Management and Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific/clinical rigor.
- Establish clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide guidance and support to enable team members to excel in their roles.
Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines and industry best practices for digital therapeutic development, upholding product quality and safety throughout the R&D lifecycle.
Collaborations and Partnerships:
- Identify and evaluate strategic collaborations, partnerships, and licensing opportunities to expand and enhance the company's clinical portfolio, fostering growth and innovation.
Qualifications:
- MD and PhD with neuro and/or psych scientific background and clinical training/practice.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in preferably CNS-focused biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies, demonstrating a successful track record in therapeutic development.
- Strong understanding of CNS disorders, neuroscience, and related fields.
- Proven strategic planning and execution skills in R&D.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, adept at conveying complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including decision-making, problem-solving, and talent development.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in therapeutic development.
Compensation:
